It has been a work in progress since MAGfest, and it’s ALMOST DONE! I hope to have it out by end of May. If that doesn’t happen, I will choke this cow. It’s definitely an album. I’m leaving “EP” behind.

The Marble Madness soundtrack has a lot of variety, and that theme carries over to this album. I’ve actually been calling it a “collection of remixes” instead of an album, but things are really starting to flow together. It’s weird. We’re close! There are a few surprises coming. I just have to work out details. More info and hopefully samples all soonlike!

Chunkstyle (Metroid Metal) just released the second Yes Mayhem album, HH2! I play guitar on it along with Kevin (MM) on drums, James Moats on vocals, and a pile of other guests. It’s a fantastic early spring treat – if you like music that is. Playing with these guys over the years has encouraged us all to expand as musicians, and I think this album is proof of that. Big thanks to Dan Taylor for continuing to push me as a dude who plays guitar sometimes. I ♥ that man. Check out HH2 – it’s awesome!

Gamefuel is one of the many awesome shows on http://areciboradio.com. This Saturday, they are doing a Stemage episode – blowing my mind. After the announcement, I threw them some new stuff that no one has heard. So if you stay for the show, prepare for new goodies – works in progress!

Stemage Shirts! (preorders for one week only)

Shirts! Finally! They look awesome too. They will also feel nice on your body – super-nice American Apparel Polycotton with water-based ink. I have a few of these types from Fangamer, and they are my favorite shirts. They feature art from Zero Over Zero. 20 songs = 20 emblems. They will be swell. They are also white, because there are not enough stylish white shirts – am I right?

We’re taking preorders for one week only (ending March 2nd). We are printing some for PAX, but before we order it makes sense to offer them to you guys first. So, we’re leaving preorders open for one week. Then we shut down preorders, and order the darn shirts. After the preorders close, a few sizes will likely be available to order later on in April (perhaps?), but c’mon… get one now.

	Alpha Squad Final Boss Redux – Static Chex Mix (song) The final boss music of Alpha Squad was very Static X inspired, so VikingGuitar decided to come in and add some vocal flare to “fix” it.. and throw in a solo. 	Alba (song) \|\| from ”Songs for the Cure” 2011 I was honored to offer an original song to Josh Whelchel’s yearly project, “Songs for the Cure“. All proceeds from album sales went the American Cancer Society (and still does). It covered many styles of music from artists all over the world. “Alba” was my contribution. It was an indirect tribute to my aunt – a cancer survivor – and also Porcupine Tree / Oceansize in style. http://music.cancerdrive.org/track/alba

	Frets of Valmar: Music of Grandia II (album) Commissioned by Jason Roop for charity, this is a 4-song EP of arrangements from the music of Grandia II, featuring Arm Cannon and Chunkstyle on a track. This is a huge milestone for me musically. For now, I consider it the best collection of VGM arrangements I’ve done. A few weeks ago, Danimal Cannon put out an amazing chiptune/crossover album called Roots. It RULES. I’ve been airdrumming “Polywrath” for months, so I decided to do a drum cover. Why not?

Play it Forward is a holiday charity album released today to raise money for Child’s Play and the Electronic Frontier Foundation. John Weible, Dan Taylor and I melded our brains to create, “The Ice of Louisville is Muddy”. It’s a fun, holiday-themed, post-rock track. If you get the joke in the title, we think you are very cool.

You can stream the song below and name your price for the entire album on Bandcamp. Remember, all proceeds go to Child’s Play and the Electronic Frontier Foundation.

Today, Vampire Variations was released. It’s a tribute album to Castlevania to celebrate it’s 25th anniversary. I scored a track on there with Chris from Arm Cannon. You can download the entire album at www.vampirevariations.com.
